Cat Behaviour Coaching
Is your cat’s behaviour becoming difficult or worrying?
Personalised Coaching For You and Your Cat
When your cat starts behaving in a way that you don’t understand, it can be stressful and upsetting — particularly when you’re not sure why it’s happening or what you can do to help.
Cat Behaviour Coaching is for people experiencing a specific or ongoing behaviour concern with their cat. Rather than focusing simply on stopping the behaviour, we’ll look at what may be driving it and what your cat might need.
Behaviour can be influenced by many things, including your cat’s health, environment, previous experiences, emotional state, relationships, and opportunities to express natural behaviour. For this reason, Cat Behaviour Coaching is provided in collaboration with your vet, and a veterinary referral is required before we begin. This helps ensure that any potential medical factors are considered alongside your cat’s behavioural and emotional needs.
By looking at the bigger picture, we can begin to understand what’s happening and identify practical ways forward.
This might be for you if your cat is:
Toileting or spraying outside the litter tray
Showing aggression towards people or other cats
Struggling with another cat in the household
Showing signs of fear, anxiety, or stress
Scratching furniture or other unwanted areas
Finding changes to their home or routine difficult
Showing a behaviour that has changed, become difficult to manage, or is causing concern
Why does my vet need to be involved?
Behaviour and physical health are closely connected. Pain, illness, and other medical factors can affect a cat’s behaviour, sometimes without obvious signs that they are unwell.
A veterinary referral helps ensure that your cat’s physical health is considered alongside their behavioural and emotional needs.
How it works:

You’ll receive practical, evidence-informed recommendations tailored to your cat, your home, and your circumstances.Ongoing support
Behaviour change can take time, so we can review how things are progressing and adapt recommendations where needed.
